Annie Mist Thorisdottir hails from Reykjavik in Iceland. She co-owns Crossfit Reykjavik where she also is a coach and trainer. Annie is the sole woman in history to have won in the CrossFit Games two times. In 2010, she finished in second place. Annie Thorisdottir from Iceland is a weightlifter who is also an avid CrossFit athlete and celebrity journalist. She was the first female to win at the CrossFit Games in 2011, and 2012, twice. In addition, she is known for winning both the Dubai Fitness Competition in 2013 and 2017. Annie, along with parents and her siblings, were birthed at Reykjavik Iceland. From the age of a child, she's been a competitive athlete and fitness enthusiast. She first competed in CrossFit in California in 2009. She did well in her initial games. Annie Thorisdottir will be 31 in 2021. Her height stands at 5'7" and her weight is approximately 67kg. Annie was the first to start CrossFit in California in 2009. At the beginning of her competition, she did very well and finished in the Top 10 out of 70. Although she didn't achieve any championships and finished her tournament in the 11th position. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. The same year, under Jami's direction, she was awarded the silver medal at the CrossFit Games. In the following year she was a participant in another CrossFit events and thanks to her impressive performance, she took home the games as the very first woman to win CrossFit Games. Annie's impressive performance in 2012 brought her to another CrossFit Games victory. This was her second time that she was able to win consecutively. In addition, in 2014 she took home a silver award and in the year 2021 she won a bronze medal in CrossFit Games. Annie is presently a coach as well as a trainer for Crossfit Reykjavik, which she created. Annie is an athlete on the rise who has been the face for numerous brands, including Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs, Nuun Hydration, Renaissance Periodization as well as Sidekick Yerbae. In addition, she has her own Youtube channel called "Annie", with over a thousand followers. It is the channel where she uploads videos about the diet of her training, life with family as well as travel.
