Ally Sheedy
Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy (born June 13th 1962) is an American actress from America. After her 1983 debut film Bad Boys, Sheedy became part of the Brat pack consisting of actors. She starred in WarGames (1983) The Breakfast Club (1985), Short Circuit (1986) as well as WarGames. Sheedy was awarded the Independent Spirit Award in 1998 for best female leading role. The reason for this was her performance as Lisa Cholodenko in High Art. Ally Sheedy is an American actor and a writer. She began her film career through the crime film Bad Boys in the early 1980s, for which she was quite appreciated. Rick Rosenthal was the director of the film with other actors also prominent such as Sean Penn Esai Morales Clancy Brown Alan Ruck. Her first success led her to appear in The Breakfast Club, a 1985 comedy-drama. John Hughes' film is considered to be one of the greatest high school films of all-time. Although it was a budget of only $1 million, the movie's earnings exceeded $50 Million. She also began appearing in a variety of TV shows like CBS Schoolbreak. This was her first TV appearance. In April of 1980, it became an adolescent show. Other TV shows she appeared in included Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid and Hill Street Blues. in Little Sister she makes a appearance as a guest. She also appears as a character in X-Men Apocalypse a superhero film in which her role is a brief cameo. Sheedy has been praised for her outstanding performances. has won numerous awards including the MTV Movie Award for Silver Bucket of Excellence Award in 2005.
